Learn how to operate safely in crowds, build situational awareness and manage crime, conflict and terrorist situations.
This course uses taught content and real-life scenarios to help participants assess and mitigate a range of risky situations including attacks by gunmen and active shooters. Learn how to assess police responses and secondary attacks; read and understand body language, non-verbal communication and verbal communication when dealing with aggression.
Lessons also cover conflict management techniques; assessing crowds, safe positioning and safe extraction from an uncontrolled situation.
